Team Associated is proud to announce their newest 1:10 scale 4WD electric touring car kit, the TC7.2 Factory Team Kit, the next generation in the TC7 lineage.

With current touring car platforms reaching higher plateaus of precision and performance, the engineers behind the doors of Area 51 wasted no time to ensure that the TC7 exceeds expectations. The TC7.2 comes packed with a host of new components and the features necessary to keep you on top.

As the on-road market advances at an ever-increasing rate, more is demanded from the chassis to accommodate the ultra-competitive racing classes. A successor to the TC7.1, the TC7.2 maintains the proven suspension geometry, but adds refinement to chassis balance and the flex necessary for today's racing class. The centrally positioned IFM (Inline Flex Mount) motor mount adds several mounting configurations to help fine-tune chassis flex to the racing surface, and has an integral mounting position for an optional chassis pitch control system (PCS). The TC7.2 also carries an all-new aluminum rear gear differential for the ultimate in precision and heat dissipation, as well as an ultra-light front spool assembly. Along with a list of new features, the TC7.2 Factory Team gives you everything you need to race at the highest level -- all without sacrificing low part count or affordability. A well-refined racing chassis with success in its heritage, the TC7.2 Factory Team Kit is another "Champion by Design" from Team Associated!

Mighty Gripper V3 Yellow:
The yellow Mighty Gripper V3 is good for use on the high grip condition racing track. A development concept is a car can flow on the heavy track condition well. We put our new technology in the yellow can. You can feel your car lighter even track became very high grip with yellow. In other words, This yellow can not give you strong grip on the low grip track.

Application information direct from the Japan factory;

Blue is our strongest traction tire compound ever. Our development purpose was “ a strongest “.
And we actually made it. But we are suggesting to racers that blue is good to use grip level adjustment compound.

Details, Apply blue rear tires first. Make sure car became strong understeering. This is a evidence of the blue strong grip.

If car became very slippery, its mean our compound has no chemistry with that ground surface. (very rare case)



The next step is important-
Apply blue for front tires but start only 10% of tire tread from car inner-side. Then until car became front and rear good balance add space. But in our long time experience it never be more then 50% for front there. ( If more then, car almost sure oversteering)

If you find front and rear good balance next you may apply yellow front and rear on blue. Blue must be dried already then apply yellow front and rear 100% surface of tires tread.

Its hard to keep strong grip condition by only blue. Because it must be dusty the race track when racer need strong grip by traction compound. The dust will take away tire grip even blue is strongest. Thats why covered by yellow. Its a very rare case, car can be good for 5 minutes by only our blue itself. (the blue is not developed to use only blue it-self. Its a adjuster).

Yellow is our most competitive compound for the big race. During big race, race track will have so much stronger traction it-self. Because there are many cars running.

At that time what is important for tire traction compound is “ car following”. Need tire grip of course but track already have it too much just like TITC or Tamiya Asia cup.

Our yellow have special ingredient to make it car following. There are no difficult tip to use this. As you know this is official tire traction compound of TITC and in tamiya Asia cup basic.

Just apply 1-10 minutes. Then mostly factory drivers (Yokomo, Tamiya, Xray, etc) like to run without wipe tires. (even me myself).

Then you may have additional fastness for only first around 2 lap.

New V3 Red is almost in-between Blue and yellow just like our old product V2 Red. But it not mixing compound of yellow and blue, indeed. It's a new compound.

V3 Red is the most convenient tire traction compound. Racers can use this without caring so much from low grip to high grip track just one kind of V3 RED. Same with our famous old V2 RED, racers need to think about how to create less grip little, during super high bite condition for the track. But racers who likes V2 Red said, “ Its easier to handle traction compound what is too much grip more then what is not enough grip”.

Blue: strongest ever.



Yellow: For high to super high bite race.


Red : For all condition used.

When thinking about the best think about the JP8.
The ALL NEW ultra downforce body shell has been developed with the collaboration of our wordwide team drivers, who participated to the several stages of the project. The JP8 includes all of our experience gained in over 10 years of presence on the racetrack, and the final version of the body requested many changes before reach the perfect shape. To raise the bar we not accepted any compromise.

Tested for several months both indoor and even outdoor on different types of carpet and tarmac, the JP8 body shell represent a new reality for drivers all around the world who race at top levels and always want to obtain the best result with their models.

No Compromise
The JP8 project is born with one main target: create an all new ultra downforce body shell that can be the fastest, always. No matter what final shape and lines the body will have, how it will look, the focus during the designing stage has been pure performance.

LIGHTNESS and STRENGTH! Thanks to an excellent production process, which guarantees a high homogeneity of the material in any area of the body, we have reached a good compromise between weight and durability of the product. Several track tests have revealed excellent impact resistance, giving the JP8's extremely longevity.






The Art of Performance at his best
To achieve the best result possible in term of overall product we have made the most of all our know-how, our experience on the track allowed to us to develop, to design, to engineer and to test for several months a body shell that represent the new future for the 1/10 TC competitions.

The ultra downforce design generate impressive steering as well an excellent rear stability; very easy to push the car at limit, the driving feeling is great both on indoor and outdoors layouts.
