Revolution Design Ultra Gripper R2 (Black)

The RDRP Ultra Gripper R2 is designed to hold 3.0mm, 3.5mm and 4.0mm shock shafts to make shock building as easy as 1-2-3. Often manuals recommend to hold the lower end of the shock shaft with a set of pliers to attach the lower ball end but this can lead to visible (and invisible!) damage of the shaft and a weakened area that is prone to break more easily. The RDRP Ultra Gripper, unlike pliers, has no sharp edges that can cause damage and is specially designed to capture the shaft securely without leaving marks. The shock shaft remains unharmed so does any coating on the parts for professionally build and flawlessly working shock absorbers. Like the other Ultra series tools the Ultra Gripper is precision CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and sports a shiny anodising that improves the surface of the notches for a more secure grip. The grip notches for the shock shafts sport laser-engraved size markings so you can easily find the right setting to hold the shafts of most of today's 1/10 and 1/8 scale vehicles. The R2 variant sports an updated design that makes applying pressure even easier, ensuring less stress on your mechanic's skin while also being available in range of colours including black, orange, red, blue and light blue. -- APPLICATION The RDRP Ultra Gripper is designed for the use with 1/10 scale and 1/8 scale shock absorbers but also holds all sorts of 3.0mm to 4.0mm plain surface shafts that need to be clamped for installation.
