Overview

The ECX® Brutus Monster Truck is a true-to-life monster truck designed to intimidate the rest of the backyard bashers. Designed for new drivers in mind, the Brutus allows you to use your preferred battery/charger bundle. Of course, the incredible 2WD drivetrain, oil-filled coil-over shocks, and brand new wheel, tire and body design create plenty of havoc wherever it roams. Finally, the durable nylon composite chassis is powered by a high torque 550 sized 12T Dynamite® motor giving you the kind of thrills only an ECX vehicle can deliver. When used with Spektrum Smart batteries with an IC3™ or IC5™ connector, the S150 uploads charging data from each battery's integrated memory chip. That pack-specific data helps you evaluate battery health and makes charging a snap — because the S150 can read and make the correct chemistry setting automatically. The S150 AC Mini Smart Charger is compatible with LiPo, Lilon, LiHV, and NiMH battery types(Spektrum Smart only).

Miksi LiPo pussi?

LiPo akut ovat tehty Lithiumista joka väärin käytettynä palaa agressiivisesti. Lähes kaikki nykypäivän akut kuten puhelimen ja tietokoneen akut ovat tehty Lithiumista mutta RC käytössä akut ovat kovassa käytössä ja laturit ovat monesti tehokkaampia. Kunhan muistat ladata LiPo akun älylaturilla balansointi ohjelmalla niin mitään ei pitäisi tapahtua, mutta turvallisuuden vuoksi kannattaa akku ladata LiPo pussissa joka suojaa tulipalolta jos vahingossa lataat väärällä ohjelmalla ja väärin kytkettynä tai akku on vaurioitunut.

Huom. LiPo pussit saattavat vaatia että käytät akussa tasauksen jatkojohtoa jotta akun tasausjohto yltää laturiin hyvin:
