An outstanding advantage of the Absima controller is the significantly improved modulation, especially when driving slowly. This precision enables more sensitive control, while the beeping noises that often occur with cheaper controllers are virtually non-existent here.
Thanks to the programmable functions via the Absima programming box (2110063 - not included), users can adjust more than a dozen parameters. This allows the controller to be optimally adjusted to different requirements, not only for crawlers, but also for conventional RC cars with 540/550 class brushed motors.
A brushless conversion is not always necessary, especially for crawler models, as the standard motors installed in combination with this controller are much more sensitive than with the standard controller. There are also some special functions available, such as a dragbrake that can be set by remote control (provided a free channel with potentiometer is available) and the Real Car Mode, which can be useful for certain applications.
In summary, the Absima controller is the best cost-effective choice for your standard 1/10th scale brushed motor and is ideal for model builders who value precise control and customization options.

Real Car Mode: Use the idle channel of the remote control to change the driving mode in real time. Allows you to shift between D and R gears like a real car. The neutral function is similar to the brake pedal function of a real car. Enables a new control experience (the real car mode can be set via a practical jumper on the controller).
Another jumper also allows the BEC output to be switched to 6.0V, 7.4V and even 8.4V at 5A to meet different steering requirements (strong steering servo) and provide a powerful power supply for e.g. lighting systems and winches.
Various driving modes such as forward/brake, forward/brake/reverse and forward/reverse are available.
