MT-R is the successor of the MT-S model. Unlike the MT-S that used the FH4 protocol and the SSR response mode, the MT-R is capable of using the newest FH5 protocol and the ultra fast SUR response mode. SSR, SHR and NOR response modes are also of course accessible. Receivers that use older protocols such as FH4 and FH3 will not work.
